My sister has a unibody MacBook 7,1 and there are grey spots on the palm rest around the trackpad and keyboard.
It's not that something has been spilt on it, you can't rub it off. It almost looks like the grey spots are inside the plastic.
Is this a common issue? And would Apple do anything about it? I'm guessing no as it doesn't affect how the computer performs.
You can just see the marks at the top left of the trackpad in the photo. It was the best picture I could get of it.
