I have a MB466 and I just got the HDD replaced on it... I no longer have my recovery discs for the unit so I was wondering if I go out and buy Snow Leopard should I be able to load it on with no problem. I used to be a Windows user and I know installing a generic disc required a driver hunt. Would I need to do this with my MacBook? Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can perform a clean install with the Snow Leopard disks no problem (i.e. no issues with drivers), but remember that the software that came bundled with your system (e.g. iLife) will be conspicuously absent.

That's why I have an Apple lol... Thanks!
