My girlfriend has a Core Duo MB. About 4 months ago the superdrive broke and was replaced. About 3 months ago the Logic Board failed and was replaced.

Now, the screen has been flickering, especially upon waking up from sleep.

What should I do? Am I likely to get better opportunity for rectification from calling Apple Care or going to the Genius bar? Any chance they will replace the whole computer b/c I'm afraid this computer is just faulty.

What should I say to increase the chances of getting a complete replacement rather than another repair?

Is it OK for me to call on my GF's behalf?

Thanks for any help.
