MacBook updates...

Hey guys,

Not sure whether I'm posting in the right section, but here I go anyway...

I'm currently I'm selling my Black 2.4GHz MacBook on eBay, as I want to upgrade to the newer version when its released in the coming weeks. Though I'm wondering, is it for certain that the MacBooks will be updated within the next month? or am I just selling it on the basis of peoples hopes and speculations, rather than hard facts!

Most likley date is the 14th of october, since that is when the UK and Australian back to school promotion ends.

I wouldn't sell it if i were you. The new version might just be a processor bump.

The UK promotion ends on 31st October, so I was thinking It will be still in conjunction with getting a new iPod too?

Ah yes, it does end on the 31st, my mistake. There was a rumor a while ago that said that a new macbook would be released on the 14th.

I think at this stage there is no real way of telling... probably within a month, month and a half maybe as i think they'd update to get sales going in time for christmas.

Maybe wait for a bit, see if any new rumors come out?
