Does anybody know of a usb-c hub that can connect at the wall power plug instead of at the MacBook? The data and power would be carried by the long 2 meter usb-c cable that comes with the MacBook.

The charger cable that comes with the MacBook is just that: a charger cable. It doesn't support data transmission.
You just need a new cable, and a hub with a female data input rather than a built-in male cable, and you're set.

So you want to have your peripherals at the side of the wall power plug?

I'm not sure if I understand the question correctly... Are you saying you want a USB-C hub that directly connects to a wall port?

- I do believe that's what he's saying. Just takes a new USB-C cable and it's done.
