My MacBook's USB that near the shift key suddenly stopped working. Other works fine. Help me fast, cause I need to have both ports work. HOW do I solve this?

My MacBook is over year old. I can't call Apple cuz I live in another country.

Then you might be out of luck. It's not that unusual that the port dies, usually it's just issue with power. You can get a hub for the other port to get more ports

It is a software issue, trust me! I've got hub but when I connect HDD and iPod hub and the devices crashes. I need an app!

Will try. One day left. How do I backup my mac without need to remove all data from other drive (there about 200gb)?

What other drive? External HD? Just copy the files you need to the external and wipe the HD and reinstall. Then copy the files back to the MacBook

Try booting in "safe mode" by holding down the SHIFT key when starting the Macbook.

You can also try to remove the battery (don't know if you have a Unibody or not) as well as remove the A/C adapter for 30 minutes or so.

Hey, I fixed it by doing some weird things. I've just cleaned USB myself with knife! Lolz!! HURRAY!!!!!
