Where I am
Are you a MacBook user, and do you use Time Machine? If so, do you simply connect a USB drive to your MacBook every so often, to perform a backup?

What is your process?

On my Mac Mini, a USB drive is connected for continuous Time Machine backups. I was given a MBP this week, and curious what backup process to setup.

I have a dedicated USB-C drive I use for Time Machine backups. I just plug it in whenever I will be working on the machine for a few hours and let it do its thing. In fact, I restored from it when I got my new 14" MBP, which is the first time I've ever actually done that with a Mac.

I backup my laptop and Mac Mini to multiple locations. First and foremost, I have setup a Raspberry Pi with two USB drives, one for the Mac Mini and one for my laptop. This instruction page is closely to what I have followed (when I originally setup, I had setup multiple users to backup to my RPi and have had this setup through a couple of laptops). Other than that, I backup to a 1TB USB SSD and also I have a 5TB USB HDD that I backup both computers to and store in a fire safe.

It is not easily apparent, but Time Machine definitely lets you setup multiple Drives to backup to. When you hit "Use Disk" an option should come up to "Use Both".
