Macbook vs Macbook pro Glare

It is true.
The MacBook has a glossy display (like the one pre-unibody glossy MBPs had). The MacBook Pro (in its glossy version) has a glass over the screen, which gives it slightly different properties (for better and for worse; it's a personal choice).
If you are looking at buying one of these two notebooks and screen is a very deciding factor, I recommend you try to take a look at them in personal as to have a more informed decision.
