does anyone know if I'd be better off getting a macbook pro or I'd be fine with just a macbook, as I am comparing the 2, it seems the difference is ram and an SD slot and the body style... however i get a bigger student discount on the pro but the macbook would be cheaper. any words of wisdom people?

I can get a 50 dollar student discount on the macbook and 100 on macbook pro, I am looking to do photography and design type stuff.

Also, I am going to drive the 1.5 hours to delaware to buy it since theres no tax there, and ya know ...tax on $1,000 is alot so, that will save me some money.

it would be nice to mention what you're actually going to use it for. no sense in spending more on a macbook pro if you're not even going to utilize it for anything besides web surfing/email/chat/watching movies/music/typing up notes for class.
