I bought my uMB in the beginning of Feb 09 however I wasn't sure of the date so I waited too long and now my unit is over the year warranty. Is there any way I can buy an Applecare program for this unit, or am I screwed? I woudl think Apple would make some kind of exceptions or charge more if you have it checked out in an Apple store, or basically am I warranty-less :(

I'm not sure I understand 100%.

So you bought a MacBook on January 19th 2010, but discovered it was built the week before, say January 12th.

The one year standard Apple warranty of one year will last til January 18th 2011, the extended Apple Care, which can be bought from January 19th 2010 til January 18th 2011, if you choose to buy it, will last til January 18th 2013.

Or did you wanna know something else?
