Hey everyone,

About 3-4 months ago my white macbook was ran over by a semi. I was on my way to work, and carelessly set my laptop bag on top of my car to put my coffee and some stuff I was bringing to work in my car first. I somehow forgot that my laptop was on my car until I turned onto the highway and heard a thump. By the time I turned around and parked on the side of the road a semi ran it over.

So now my question is, the hard drive appears to be in working condition still. I dont have another macbook to test it out, but is it possible to use it inside of my netbook? They use the same hard drives. But before I take it all apart is there anything I would need to get my netbook to read and boot from the macbook harddrive?

Thanks,
Paul

Netbook = PC/Windows
MacBook = MacOS

No booting. You could remove the HD, put it into a HD external enclosure and boot it from another Mac, however.
