So yesterday, when I plugged my adapter in while using my macbook, I heard some light crackling sound come from the adapter. I got scared, so I pulled it out. Then I plugged it back in and it came again, but I just let it sit.
Today, I plugged my adapter in and that sound didn't come. So I want to go get this taken a look at.
My question is, where do I go to get this taken a look at?
1. I didn't buy my macbook directly from apple, I bought it at this other store, so am I still able to use all the apple store help features such as that genius bar thing and what not?
2. I live in canada, but I bought my macbook in the US. Am I allowed to go to an apple store in Canada, or do I have to go to a store in US. (also, my uncle bought this macbook for me, so he bought it under his name in the US, and I brought it to Canada since I live here)
