macbook white - drive set to region 6

The superdrive on my white nvidia macbook was set to region 6 from the factory. I had to reset it to 1, but now only have 4 re-sets left. Sometimes I switch between regions 1 and 2, so I feel cheated by this. Anybody else noticed this?

You can flash the drive firmware to become region-free. I'd do it if I actually bought DVDs to watch movies. :O)
