Hey guys,

I still have an old Macbook "White" (late 2006), my girlfriend sometimes uses.
Specs: http://support.apple.com/kb/SP23

I already upgraded the 80gb harddisk to a 320gb one, I still had.

Since I want to run Snow Leopard on it, I am quite sure that 1gb is even for minor task not enough. (Word, Mail, Safari, watching Movies (if possible in HD)

So I'd like to update my RAM. My three questions are:

1. Should I upgrade it to 2gb (2 * 1gb) (20€/$) or to 4gb (2 * 2gb)? (40€/$)
2. How much RAM does my system support? 2gb as said by Apple? 3,3gb as said in some forums or up to 6gb as said in some forums?
3. Should I buy "quality" ram or doesn't it really matter?

Thank you in advance for your advices!

Check the max ram supported at www.macsales.com. They usually test bigger sizes not supported by Apple. Better than that, it would be testing by yourself.
