Macbook WIFI problems

Honestly, when will these end...

I've had a 2016 512gb macbook for a little over a month now. Four times it has started dropping the Wifi connection during that time. The three earlier times were fixed with the simplest delete preferences "fix", but this fourth time I don't even know anymore. I tried going as far as the SMC reset so what options are there even anymore...

There are a few other suggested fixes: set AirDrop to "no one," change the MTU settings... I've tried some of these and haven't found the perfect solution yet. It seems like there is a definite problem, though. It would be nice to have a definite fix.
