So: A friend spilled some tea with honey on a macbook.

Macbook is OK after drying out except for 3 bad keys (m, period, comma.) External usb keyboard works just fine.

I took the keyboard out, flushed the 3 keys liberally with isopropyl alcohol, but no luck. I took the keycaps off, flushed it again, same result.

Is there anything else I can try before either looking on eBay for a keyboard or suggesting a slim and small Apple bluetooth keyboard?

Interestingly enough, the Apple usb external extended keyboard came from another friend who spilled something on it. I rescued it and ran it thru the dishwasher. After thoroughly drying it out, works fine.

Can I run the Macbook keyboard through the dishwasher? Anybody heard of doing that? I don't want to ruin it because the power switch is on the top case/keyboard.
