Hello,

I have a macbook (not sure how to find the model number) but it has a core 2 processor 2GHz, 667 Bus speed and boot rom version MB21.00A5.B00. I'm having trouble installing bootcamp (i've installed it on two other macbooks but I'm still an apple newbie) I created a new partition (wiped out the old hard drive) and I've installed OS 10.5.6 and all the patches but two. THey keep coming back into my software update even though they say they installed each time I try to do them.

Mackbook EFI Firmware update 1.1 and Keyboard Firmware update 1.0. I've installed rebooted installed, rebooted and they keep coming back.

It says it will update my firwmare to MB21.00A5.B07 but for some reason it never does.

Any suggestions?

Please ignore - I just noticed the update box that tells me I have to hold down on the power during reboot for the firmware update to take effect.
