Hi there. I am very frustrated because I bought a new internal harddrive (WD 7500BPVT 750 GB 8MB 5400RPM SATA 2.5 Scorpio) and my 2010 model white MacBook won't accept it. Whenever I turn on the machine with the installation disc in it shows the kernel panic.
I upgraded my RAM as well, however macbook works fine with my old harddrive. I tried everything (pushing down the opt. button while booting, pushing down p+r+opt+cmd+power button...) but it doesn't seem to respond.

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks
:(:(

Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, it came with this MacBook.
I have no idea how to do the USB enclosure thing :(

I did the Internet Recovery, and then in disc utility I can see the hard drive and I partitioned it before. But when I try to download OS X Lion it says my apple ID has not purchased it which clearly I did. I checked with the apple store and it's under my purchased list.

I appreciate your help again.
