Is it a new brand of blank CD that you're using? Do you have another kind of CD you can try? It's not some five and dime spool of el-cheapo Burnmequicks is it? :p

Nope- they're those nice, black memorex ones. I just put in a music CD, and that works just fine.

Have you used them before? The slot drives can be picky about disks that are fractionally too thick or otherwise weird in some way. I always stick to Sony and Verbatim disks, never any probs.

They don't seem to like Memorex media over at cdfreaks.com at all.

I bet that's it. I've only used those discs in my PM G5. I'll go get some new ones for this one.
