This is my first post as a brand new Mac owner so be gentle! I've just got a new MB 2.2 standard spec with 1gb ram. Everything is brilliant except that I'm finding that Garageband has problems running. When I use the magic function it sometimes comes up with a memory error.
Basically what I want to know is how much of a difference it will make by installing 2gb or 4gb ram? Money is a bit tight at the moment (having just bought a new MB!!) but if someone can tell me that extra ram will solve all my problems I will get it. If it's more down to graphics card or processor I'll not bother at the moment as Garageband isn't essential to my life.
