Macbook won't start up, screen flickers, hdd spins

I'll cover the background to when this started happening.
I took my macbook out of an outer case to clean the shell itself.

I used wet ones which have alcohol so I wasn't worried, but also wasn't careless.
I once got a screen that said I needed to restart my computer. So I did.
Then soonafter, if I moved my macbook or tilted or actidentally bumped it,
the screen would go black and the macbook would start up again.

After that, it would not turn on at all. The screen would flicker gray for a fraction of a second. I can hear the disk spinning, and the sleep light stays on. But no chime.
The numlock and capslock keys don't light up, no power to usb as well.

This is where I am stuck now.
When it happened, I could shake it a lil to get things working, but now that doesn't do anything.

I don't know if cleaning it did anything or what, or if I can take it apart and repair it.

I've done all the kinds of resets, pmu, smc, ect.
Any ideas as to what may be going on?

Sounds like a chip is popping off the logic board (e.g. graphics). If it's a MacBook PRO, there's a repair extension program going on some of the models.

Otherwise, sorry for the bad news.
