I have a 2011 MacBook Pro that's running the latest version of High Sierra. Had no issues I believe until this latest update. I had PdaNet installed for tethering and had the app on my phone. I'd plug in via USB and had zero issues. Now I notice on the phone where it had me click on connect via USB it just says "Please connect". Meanwhile it shows that I'm connected on the Mac. It'll stay connected for a minute or two and will disconnect. Then I'll have to manually reconnect. I uninstalled and reinstalled both applications on the Mac and on my phone and nothing has worked. Does anyone think the latest update affected anything? Does anyone else here use PdaNet?
