Last spring, I got coffee spilled on my macbook. After it dried out, it worked fine. However, during the summer it would take forever to turn on. I would open it up and push some buttons to get it to wake up and nothing would happen. I would hear the fan go for a couple of seconds and then silence. I would then leave it open and walk away and five to ten minutes later, the screen would turn on and it would be back to normal.

I took it to a repair guy who said he didn't notice the problem so I just worked around it. This fall and winter I didn't have any issues at all. The computer worked normally and would start up fine.

As summer has progressed, it has started to not start up again until now this latest heat wave seems to have totally knocked it out.

Any ideas?
