Just thought I'd see if anyone on here knows how I might fix this. I have a White Macbook 2.0 CD that works fine most of the time, but every once in a while when it falls asleep after a period of inactivity, it refuses to wake back up. Doesn't matter if I hit keys, hit the mouse button, the power button, etc, nothing will wake it up. All I can do is force it to quit and then restart. It doesn't even do it consistently either. It went for over a week without doing it and then it did it twice today.
Now, I was on the Apple support site and I saw something about Macbook Pros having this problem under 10.5.2 and I thought it said something about a firmware update. I looked around some more and found a Macbook EFI Firmware Update 1.2, but it doesn't say what it's for and I don't want to load it if it's not the right thing. It is dated April 8 of this year. I don't think I ever loaded it because the support page says that after installing it the computer's Boot ROM version should be MB31.008E.B02, whereas mine right now is MB11.0061.B03.
So, anyone on here that might have an idea if this would help, and if not, what would? Thanks a million!
