macbook you need to restart your computer error

I had to install a new hard drive on my macbook. Everything went fine with the installation of the hard drive but while it started to install Snow Leopard it gives me that error message on the 29 min mark. I've it 6 times and I keep getting the same message. I already reset the PRAM and that didn't help..
I currently have the battery out for an hour to see if that works.

Thanks but none of that works since the OS is not installed on the computer yet. Now it's gets up to the 27 min mark before that messages appears.
I'm ready to throw this damn thing out of the window..

Your new hard drive could be bad. Can you put the old one in and see if it works?

That's most likely the problem. It's a new part you added to your computer. If it was working fine before, it is most likely the new hard drive.

Well before I installed the new hard drive I got that folder with the ?..
