Macbook youtube flickers

My Black Macbook late 2006 has developed a nasty flicker when playing many youtube or other strreaming movies. I've replaced the version of Adobe Flash but wonder if something else is worth a try. Other movies play from my hard disk with no flickering. Thanks.

If I'm not wrong, YouTube can work in HTML5 mode (no Flash). I just don't remember how to enable it.
