I say wait until Nov. 17th. gives you about 3 weeks.

The core 2 duo processor will be worth it. not as much for speed, but power consumption. i have the macbook black core duo and i love it, but damn it can get hot, but that might be the case for the C2D macbook, too.

just my 2 cents.
