I have a MacBook2,1 which currently has OS X 10.10 on it using 64on32, but as of today it no longer boots, it just hangs on the black loading screen with the apple logo. I figured since it's not working now and I had my fun putting OS X 10.10 on an unsupported mac, I wanted to return it back to it's supported OS X 10.7
Now the problem being that when I boot holding option, I get my three partitions, the main OS (Macintosh HD) which it won't boot into, it hangs on the boot screen, the 64on32 installer partition (as a fail safe incase anything goes wrong I can install again, which also hangs on the boot screen), and lastly the Recovery partition, which also, hangs on boot and won't let me access it, I figured it was just slow so I let it sit over night loading and nothing, it get's about 1/3 the way done and hangs there on all three partitions.
So, I took my old retail copy of OS X 10.7, made a usb installer, it pops up, boot from it, it starts booting with the old gray screen and apple logo, and then the apple logo turns into a "do not enter" sign, so, I'm really at a loss here, It's not hard drive related because it won't even boot from USB.
Any suggestions?
EDIT:
I forgot to add that I checked the USB installer on my MacBookPro3,1 with the USB drive, it comes up as "OS X Lion" and loads all the way to the install screen just fine, where as on the MacBook2,1 it says "EFI Boot", and it won't get passed the apple logo before it turns to a "do not enter" logo.
