I've noticed that I lose WiFi signal when I try to watch Netflix in CloudReady 80.3 on my 2.4 GHz white 2008 MacBook4,1. It works for a while and then dies and can't connect anymore, until I shut off WiFi and turn it back on. OTOH, if I just surf, WiFi seems to be OK. Could this be overheating or something? Or is it a bug? Note that to use Netflix you have to activate Flash and the media plugins. This MacBook does not have hardware h.264 decode and runs hot, especially so with video playback.
BTW, CloudReady is reasonably peppy with 4 GB RAM on this machine, at least with AdBlock active.
