Hey all,

Whenever i burn a (Audio) CD no matter what song I use track "7" never plays...and then the rest of the tracks (after 7) are scratchy (white noise with some audible music playing)

I've tried a few things:

Burning the CD in iTunes- Still having the problem (I lowered the burning speed with no luck)

Burned the CD in Toast 9- Still having the problem.

I've taken some compressed air and blew out my superdrive as well as my car CD player and still nothing is working properly.

I've noticed that some of the tracks that I've downloaded (not on the CD) are "bad" they do the "digital" skipping...

The two things that I'm thinking now is either I have a bad car CD player or my superdrive is messed up.

Does anyone have any advice?!?!

Thanks

You mentioned that the audio files you downloaded are "skipping"; so are you saying they are bad to begin with? If so you can't really expect the music to get any better by burning it.

The actual files on my iTunes liberary play fine and dandy. The "skipping" tracks only seem to skip on the CD or on my iPod.
