I'm new to Mac.:eek:
Tonight I can't get my mac out of Preview and the file in Preview is hi-lighted blue. Because of this, In can't turn off my computer.
Help!:confused:

If you mean you're previewing a file (as opposed to the Preview.app), simply press the space bar to close it. If you're talking about the Preview.app, hold the Option key while you right-click the Preview icon on the Dock and select "Force Quit". You may have to select it a couple times.
 
It's the Preview Ap. The problem is that it's stuck on file and won't budge.
