MacBookPro3,1 Hard Drive Thickness

I searched, but couldn't find exactly what I'm looking for. I want to know, will my MacBook Pro (MacBookPro3,1) fit a 12mm hard drive? I would like to upgrade to the 1TB drive but I'm not 100% sure it would fit. I have a 500GB in there now, but I can't remember if it had room to "grow".

9.5mm seems to be the maximum height.

Only the Unibodies accept HDDs with 12mm, and maybe the 17" MBP pre-Unibody.

17" pre unibody was able to have 12.5mm drives no problems.
