MacBooks and CDs

My opinion is that CD/DVD are turning obsolete especially because the internet is a faster way of purchasing and delivering, but I read people complaining of the lack of Blu-Ray on MBP.

So I wanted to know your opinion on this and how useful is for laptops to have them nowadays.

CD's and DVD's are the best and far from obsolete.. I use them everyday.. I've never downloaded music or movies from the internet because the quality is terrible.. I also don't care about blu ray.
