According to the serial number of my first MacBook it was assembled in week 19. This MacBook has some serious issues, including over-heating so badly that the whole computer would just shut itself down.

My second MacBook was assembled in week 21. It wasn't perfect either, but the problems were definitely not as major. It had an odd HD vibration and the bottom case was a bit warped so that it didn't sit flat. While it didn't run cool, it didn't run as hot at the first one. I ran iTunes visualizer and a QuickTime movie and the highest temp I saw was 68°C. I saw 85°C and higher on the first one.

I'm wondering if maybe the heat issue is alreay being addressed? Does anyone have a week 21 that runs hot? It seems like there's less complaining about heat. The moo is still there, though. And I'm noticing a few posts about the HD vibration. I'm hoping we see fewer problems as the weeks go by.
