MacDrive 8 Repair Drive on Hackintosh

I have MacDrive 8 installed on my Hackintosh. I ran the Format or Repair Mac Disk option and the program is reporting that the drive needs to be repaired.

I'm curious if this action will corrupt my boot files and prevent the Mac portion of my system inoperable? Or is it safe to run? Does any Hackintosh user out their have MacDrive 8 and have you repaired a Mac disk with it?
