So:
I'm rolling Vista 64-bit and have MacDrive 7.2.6 installed. Everything was working relatively well until Windows pulled a classic Windows move and gave me a freeze-attack during an un-RAR-ing.
It was super effective.
I powered down manually, reset and thought I'd be good to go. I was woefully mistaken. MacDrive spat out some error about the mac disk maybe being damaged or something like that. So, being a semi-smart person, I decided to jump over to OSX and use Disk Utility to look into any potential damage. Once I was back in Vista, I could see my Mac disk again (even though it took its sweet time in mounting.) However, when I tried to do anything with files on the Mac side (open RARs, mount TrueCrypt partitions, drag and drop a 1kb text file...) Windows either said "You cannot do this." or "There is a problem with the attached device.".
So, I set off for OSX again, lathered, rinsed, and repeated the DiskUtillity routine. Now back in Vista, my Mac drive will not show up. My external OSX volume gets the same "attached device error". I've tried read-only, disabling/re-enabling MacDrive and resetting ad nauseum.
And now I come to this Mecca of knowledge, seeking your help.
Any ideas?
