Enjoy

I think the empty boxes don't actually appear until Christmas even if you've referred someone- at least that's what the forum on macheist seems to be saying.

Love the free software.

I hadn't even heard of Enigmo 2 until I got the email from MacHeist today. Looks like an excellent puzzle game.

Thank You!!! Enigmo 1 is friggin awesome and now I got Enigmo 2 for free!!! Thanks!

Am I missing something, where do you get the serial #?

You have to get 2 people to sign up? then it's not really free then is it?:(

sounds like a pyramid scheme. To quote a famous book "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch."

After you sign up the little tag that you entered your info on should refresh and display a serial number. Just copy that and paste it into the window prompt when you open the app.

I don't know how ethical this is, but you can email yourself (if you have two extra emails) and then create two more MacHeist accounts. This will unlock the the last two apps.

edit: Actually, I do know how ethical it is. It's cheating. I'll just have to send out a couple personal emails to absolve myself of this heinous crime.

Mac Giving Tree Rewards You With Free Applications

As the holidays quickly move through it would seem that everyone is in the spirit of giving (unless you're a scrooge, but that's a different story entirely). MacHeist, a site that has mainly been known to sell application bundles, is offering something very special this holiday season. The Mac Giving Tree is a place where people with a MacHeist account can go to get free applications. If you don't have MacHeist credentials, you can sign up for free.

When you sign up, you are able to join the Mac Giving Tree -- this gives you a few free applications upon sign up. I got Synergy and Enigmo 2 absolutely free.

On Christmas Day, you are able to visit the site, sign in, and "unwrap" other presents that show up below the tree. When you refer your friends, you are able to get additional presents to unwrap.

Sounds cool and really interesting. I'm waiting for a few of my friends to sign up so that i can open up the last 2 boxes. Anyone have an idea what are the last 2 applications?

I would like to hear from someone who has actually won an iPhone app from macgivingtree. Any Macrumors members out there who have won one yet?

dono if its already been answered, but they gotta click the link

yeah, if they don't sign up it doesn't count i don't believe. i referred two friends, both signed up, and i have four presents under the tree now. and enigmo 2 is a wicked fun game. i'm not sure synergy will replace coversutra (especially since i bought it before the recent price drop) but it seems to be a pretty slick app regardless.

Here is the list of apps:
Synergy ($14)
Enigmo 2 ($19)
iConquer ($25)
1Password ($40)
Headline ($20)
Lugaru ($20 but free for the holidays anyways)
Ringtone Studio ($15)
SantaSnaps 2 ($0)

So a total of $153 in apps, free :) Macheist rocks.

I really want the Ringtone Studio-does anyone know how many referrals you need to get it unlocked? I have like 5 but I can't get the thing yet.
