Okay, so thoughts?

I would love to blame it on Mojave but I have had Mojave installed on here since a week and a half ago. This just started tonight. Tried resetting and doing a SMC reset, play with the firmness of the trackpad in Settings, nada. And no, I'm not pressing down. It seems to have progressively been getting worse throughout the day today. I thought I was going crazy when it clicked and I didn't press down, but then it started happening more frequently and this was a couple of hours ago:

Amazing.

Actually, it's worse now, more frequent.

It's a 13 inch MBP TouchBar 2018 if you couldn't make it out. Also, doesn't matter if I have 1, 2, 3 or 4 fingers on the trackpad apparently.

Edit: Video working now.

Clearly defective.

(Though the second generation Force Touch trackpads, found in the 2016 MacBook Pros and newer, do have the feature to produce rapid feedback, but this is intended for specific applications rather than general clicks. One example where this is used is in iTunes. If you try to Force click on the forward or back buttons while playing a track, you can feel the rapid feedback as you scrub through the track.)
