Just managed to get an original 128k off eBay, complete with original mouse/keyboard/floppies/and external floppy drive, fully working.

Model number M0001, says "macintosh" on the back.

Well pleased :) Now all I need is a USA-UK power converter and it'll be fully working. Be quite funny if I blew the thing up. It'd be like destroying a piece of history :p

Congratulations on your 128k! Welcome to the club! Now you have to work up to the next rung, the 512k . . .

Ha ha. No, a Mac128 would fill the role of centerpiece quite nicely.

If you have any troubles at all with it, I've found SUPERB SERVICE with a man named Herb Johnson, who runs a Classic Mac reconditioning center in New Jersey, USA.

Here is his e-mail address:

hjohnson@pluto.njcc.com

His prices are matchless.

Sincerely,

City of Glass

Nice, I was going to go for one of those next, along with a 512k. Congratulations on the purchace. Pictures anywhere?

Now all you need is a 512K and a Plus. For your accomplishment I'll even send you a Plus for free if you pay shipping.
