I recently got given a Centris 610 from ITV television. They had it in storage from 1993 and it has never been used. Looks like a total time warp inside.

I went on eBay and brought a Apple Screen and a Apple Mouse for it, still need a keyboard. But now I have no idea what to do with it. It runs system 7.

Any ideas?

Maybe an old school gaming machine, or put it on display just for looks.

Of course everyone here will suggest a "fishtank" mod for the display, but I disagree.

I think the Centris 610 had a math coprocessor? You could get a usb card for it. Hook up some external storage and use it as a mp3 player?

The centris 610 was actually my first mac...got it years ago at a garage sale for $15..

It's great for word processing and for those vintage games. Keep in mind it uses Nubus architecture, so I doubt you'll be able to find a USB card for it. If you are really ambitious you could look into getting a G3 accelerator card for it.

Check out Macintosh Gardens and download some old school games.
