I was going to buy a cheap old Mac SE on ebay. I came across one that said Parts only and it look like it was just need a os because I thought I seen the disk Icon.... I was wrong. It is a Sad Mac. Sorry, I misread your post. I thought you'd bought it already.
If I'm reading the article correctly, the code pictured means that the "ROM checksum test" failed. I have no idea what that means.

Its ok. I found out that 0001 was rom checksum. I have no idea how to fix it. So I might should spend more money and get one that works good. Onetime I seen about 25 Mac SE computers near a old building that said free. The keyboards were there too. Nobody was around so i should have took all of them.
