Macintosh Plus conversion to 115v

Guys,
I have received my very old Mac + from Italy and I would like to be able to "use" it. What kind of transformer do I need to go from 220 to 115 ?

Also, it came with its hard drive (external of course) and I have no idea what voltage than runs at (no written anywhere), how could I find out w/o busting it ?

There's a step down transformer on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/Step-Down-Transformer-2000-Watt-220V-to-115V_W0QQitemZ7552397624QQcmdZViewItem) for a $130, no old mac is worth that.

The hard drive should be the same.
Now, if you do get this you should only need one transformer if you also get this (http://cgi.ebay.com/Leviton-Almond-3-To-1-Wall-Plug-Adapter-697-A_W0QQitemZ5979846926QQcmdZViewItem).
