Mackeeper - is it worth the money?

Just downloaded the app and i find it really cool, but a bit expensive. It is worth paying US$38 for it or there is another app that does basically the same for free? (or for a cheaper price?)

The reviews at MacUpdate are pretty spotty. Looks like most of the functionality can be provided by Onyx or other free apps. I don't see it being worth the money myself.

No, I don't think it is. I downloaded a trial version and was pretty unimpressed. It tells you little you can't work out with a little detective work of your own and you still have to make smart decisions about that (if anything) to delete. In the hands of someone who doesn't know what they're doing, it can be dangerous.
