Mackeeper sinks to new low....

I'm well aware of this app & it's adverts, but it has now sunk to a new low:
I linked to imageshack from a thread on whirlpool
I had a pop-up with "mackeeperapp.zeobit.com" which had an "OK" button which I refused to click on.
I could not navigate away from it OR close Safari, a "force quit" shut down Safari, but the page returned when I re-opened Safari.
I had to reboot to clear the problem.
Surely a new LOW for Mackeeper!

It's certainly an app that should be avoided!
