Hello,

Is it possible to add Alias "From" addresses with MacMail? I would like to add a few and cannot seem to locate how to do so, other then to add "fake" accounts. Is there built in functionality for MacMail to achieve this?

Thanks.

I don't think it is a part of the Mail program,
but you can from a Mobile Me account

Duff-Man says....the way it works in Apple's Mail with a .mac/mobileme account with aliases is in the account preferences in the "email address" field you just put in all the aliases separated by a comma, then when composing a message you choose which one in each message from the "from" menu. Each of the addresses authenticates with the smtp server using the credentials with the .mac account listed in that accounts properties. I've not tried it with another account/isp but I suppose for some it might work....oh yeah!
