I have looked everywhere but can find no way to empty a very full bulk mailbox. Can someone clue me in on how to do this, please? Thanks.

Two ways:
  1. Select all messages in Junk. Click the Delete icon. Then select all messages in Trash. Click the Delete icon again.
  2. Click the little gear icon on the bottom of the Mail side bar. Scroll down the pop-up menu to Erase Junk Mail. Release.
