MacMall and other discount retailers

I'm looking to buy a new MB/MBP soon after the refresh. In the past macmall and others have prices unbeatable by mainstream retailers (especially after you factor in tax). How soon after a refresh do retailers like macmall carry new models?

Sorry if this has already been covered I'm still fairly new and haven't mastered the search.

Depends. It all depends on the store.
When I bought my MBA, it can out right on the refresh date (its a different case since I bought it brand new).

Again, mine came out right on the day or release.
But it still depends on the retailer.

I believe in what I have seen, that they carry them within a week of the new model launch date.
