In a Mac box
I ordered my MBP from Macmall with windows 7 home premium pre installed. They sent me the Home premium disc but it only says 32bit on it. I searched around some microsoft forums and they said every version (except home basic) sold would have a 32 bit and 64 bit option. Is this just a formality where Macmall can't distribute a 64bit version or should I try to get them to send me one? All help is appreciated

EDIT: Found this on the back of the box.

"The PAck may include more than one platform version of the software such as 32-bit or 64-bit. You [the licensor] may only install one version but MUST distribute BOTH versions to the end user."

I think they should've sent me one...

I read that as "if (the first may) the pack includes alternate versions you must include them both." Most OEM/system builder versions include only one.

You can probably just download the official ISO and use the same key. That's what I did with the version of W7 Ultimate I got at the launch event.

Oh I see what you mean. Wishful thinking on my part i guess. Where can I download the official ISO?
