Hi, does anyone know if macmall give their education discounts by mail in rebate or instantly? I really need to know ASAP and MacMall is closed today so I can't call

As far as I know Macmall is not authorized to sell academic software or hardware. If they do, they only sell to schools or educational institutions. They do not sell academic priced software to college students, etc. Unless that has changed.
If your looking for software try http://www.academicsuperstore.com, if your looking for mac hardware try the Apple Store for Education.

I can't seem to find an academic discount on their site. However, if they offer one, it's probably instant.
