iPod touch Macmall has some colors in stock (32gb only)

As of now (4:30pm EDT) they have 32gb yellow, blue and black in stock. $294, free shipping and no tax for most states. Also a free charger and free engraving.

Sales tax in CA TN MN IL NY WI CO NC GA

If you can avoid the sales tax you save about $30 versus buying from Apple.

Just checked with them - they're not actually in stock. They'll be arriving to macmall to ship sometime this week. So they'll probably ship faster than direct from apple, but don't expect them to ship tomorrow or tuesday.

I spoke to two different reps there and they swear those specific models are in stock. It's only for the three colors in 32gb. My sales confirmation also says it is in stock. We'll see if it ships tomorrow.

All the other color/size models say "ships in October", so the fact that only three models say "in stock" makes it more likely to be correct.

Macmall is a huge Apple reseller, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them getting some items sooner than others.

Weird, I wonder if the stock they have currently is sold. The person I talked to just told me that if I ordered it it'd ship sometime later in the week.
